I don’t paint en plein aire often! "Alligator Bender at Brookgreen" began at a Spring 2019 plein aire event hosted by the SC Watermedia Society. Brookgreen Gardens, in Litchfield, SC, is an amazing place. I finished the piece in my studio using reference photos I took over a two-day visit.
