Red Hot Salsa Okra Strut

This painting was inspired by a photo I took several years ago on a country road though York County near Rock Hill, SC. It was one of those “stop the car” moments and a pic from the car window. I thought back to the moment as I considered a composition to enter a Rural SC competition. A friend suggested the title because of the red hot red in the background. It was juried and awarded in the SCWS in 2019, Crooked Creek Art League 2020, Union County Arts Council 2022.
